Automatic 3D Free Form Surface Modelling and Analysis in the Frequency Space from Range Images
This project investigates how the frequency for a point to be selected by others as their tentative correspondents can be used for the estimation of the probabilities of these tentative correspondences being real. Such approaches have an advantage in that they do not need to define the similarities between points and the estimated probabilities are independent of the actual distances between them. Such techniques are more realistic for the simulation of the resource allocation in the real world.
