Research Institutions

The individual groups from each institution that make up RIVIC are :

Aberystwyth: Vision, Graphics and Visualization Group (four academic staff), and in addition one senior computer vision researcher in the Physics department, with close links to the Aberystwyth Visualization Centre.
Bangor: High Performance Visualization and Medical Graphics Group (four academic staff).
Cardiff: Visual Computing Group (seven academic staff), and in addition one research professorship in visualization in the Distributed Collaborative Computing Group.
Swansea: Visual and Interactive Computing Group (five academic staff and 1 RCUK fellow).

Aberystwyth

Visual Computing Group (seven academic staff), and in addition one research professorship in visualization in the Distributed Collaborative Computing Group, which also leads the Wales e-Science centre.
Swansea

Visual and Interactive Computing Group (five academic staff and 1 RCUK fellow), which leads the CAST Centre, a WAG-accredited Centre of Excellence (CETIC).
