Computer Graphics allows architects and Visualization engineers to create very realistic Virtual Prototypes of building designs far cheaper than creating physical mock ups. Advanced global illumination algorithms can greatly enhance the lighting effects that can be achieved with architecture models, which leads to very realistic external and internal models enabling very effective Visualization of proposed plans and designs.
Here we have our Visual Computing Projects which have been associated with the Architecture Theme.
Projects
-
Modelling the Change in 3D Head Dynamics and Appearance
The development of 3D (and also 2D) statistical models of facial dynamics with applications to medical/dental, computer graphics, animation and computer vision.
-
Ray Tracing and Global Illumination
Ray tracing is a significant field of computer graphics used for rendering highly realistic imagery for computer animated films, scientific data visualization, architectural and engineering designs.
