One of the major applications of visual analytics is in the security domain. RIVIC researchers are very active in this area and are founding members of the UK Visual Analytics Consortium (UKVAC), which is working with the support of the US Department of Homeland Security.
In this project we explore models and techniques for designing and controlling quantum devices and establish links between physical (quantum) device modelling, experimental system identification, model verification and quantum control.

The NV3D display system is designed as a natural view, auto stereo display system which uses up to 36 projectors to piece together different images to different viewpoints located in front of its display screen.
