Video visualization and Video Processing
Due to their large size video data, generated by entertainment, security and traffic cameras, remote sensing devices, represent one of the real challenges to the analytical capabilities of human beings.
The aim of this project is two folded on one side to devise novel methodologies for "summarizing" video sequences using visualization techniques by extracting features, volume rendering video and feature data, and creating video visualizations.
On the other side to conduct a comprehensive study on video visualization techniques from the perspective of the human cognitive process and perceptual capabilities.
