Current interests

Various aspects of computer vision, including 2D and 3D facial analysis and synthesis.

Example Research Title:

Non-Photorealistic Rendering Rendering images in a minimal and artistic manner.

Application Area:

Generating attractive graphics for print publications and webpages.

Research:

The challenge is to remove distracting and unnecessary detail, while at the same time determining and retaining the salient information. For arbitrary unconstrained images this is difficult. Our approach tackles the problem by combining multiple techniques such as line extraction, thresholding, segmentation, salience measures.

Looking for Commercial Partners:

To support and develop applications of Non-Photorealistic Rendering
